(Alternative) Connecting Ingenico MOVE/5000 to a Spenda terminal

To connect the Ingenico Move/5000 terminal to your Spenda iPad terminal, please follow these instructions in order.
Please note; no other EFTPOS terminal will correctly connect to Spenda at this time.
Configuring the EFT Device
Step 1:
Connecting Ingenico terminal to your WIFI network
- Power on the Ingenico MOVE/5000 by pressing the enter button
- Press the FUNC button
- Type in "100" and press ENTER
- Select Scan for networks
- Select your Wifi SSID/Name
- Enter the Wifi's password
- Wait until the Wifi icon on the top goes green (connected)
Step 2:
Obtain Ingenico 5000 device IP Address
- Press the FUNC button
- Type in "100" and press ENTER
- Select Advanced Options
- Select IP Configuration
- Set DHCP to "OFF"
- Select the IP address and input desired value (recommend setting to somewhere higher in the IP range to avoid conflicts).
- Write down the IP address.
Step 3:
- Press the FUNC button
- Type in "6" then press ENTER
- Ensure the device is hovered over "GPRS", if not use the F3 key and press "ENTER"
- The device should go back to the Home Screen and might preform a logon/TMS download
Step 4:
- Press "Menu"
- Press "2" for Terminal
- Press "3" for Other
- Press "1" for Interface
- If the device asks for a password enter in the last 4 digits of the business MID number (Usually point on any EFT receipt print out)
- Select Wifi using the F3 button to scroll through the Menu
- Ensure "server" is selected using the F3 key and press ENTER.
- Type in the port number 4643 and press ENTER
- Scroll to SSL "ON" using the F3 key and press ENTER
- Scroll to "POSGATE" using the F3 key and press ENTER
- The Device will now restart and save it's new settings
Connection to Spenda POS
- Force Close Spenda
- Navigate to "Settings" on the iPad
- Select Spenda App from the list within Settings
- Select EFTPOS Device
- Select the Ingenico Move/5000 from the options list
- Fill in the EFTPOS Terminal IP Address (the IP you wrote down earlier)
- Navigate to Advanced Settings and ensure Port Number 4643 is set
- Open Spenda, you will be prompted by "Do you want to connect this device to the network?" click yes (this is important for Spenda to identify the device).
- Do a Test transaction (You just need to see the figures appear on the EFT device and ensure no error pops up). After hitting pay on the iPad, it may prompt you again to "Allow connection to the device", make sure to press Yes.

This connection should not break, unless iPad setting are changed, or your WiFi signal is not available.
