How to Archive Customers & Products
How to Archive Customers & Products
If duplicate data is present or if there are customers/products to delete, an Archiving process will need to be completed.
Deleting data could effect previous history, sales summaries and totals, which may cause errors.
Due to this, the DELETE function IS NOT available for use.
1. Navigate to side menu and select "Data Manager"
2. Within Data Manager we have the ability to archive and restore any form of data within Synkd. Please note the difference between Operational Data and FInancial Data.
3. Select the items you wish to archive, by clicking the side radio butons (blue tick will appear when clicked)
4. Items selected will now show in "Selected" tab.
5. Within "Selected" tab, Click on "Modify Selected"
6. Click "Archived"
7. Click "Save"
Archiving data will remove items within Service Management and POS. It will also not appear when trying to match & link customers in Synkd.
