How to Create an Operational Customer

Operational Customers do not get pushed to your accounting system.

They're simply linked to an ‘Account Customer’ record, which resides on your accounting system.

The main aim is to create a "Digital Firewall" for successful integration and manage behaviour between your Service Management / POS and your Accounting system.

If an invoice is not syncing through to your Accounting system, it's usually due to the following reasons;

1.  "Operational Customer" and "Account Customer" not linked
2.  Customer Class is not defined

To create an Operational Customer, simply do the following;

1.  Select “Add New” in the Operational Customers menu
2. Add all required fields
3. Select Save & Close

 (Instructional video included below for easy reference)
Required Fields for Service Management application is Contact name, First name, Last name, and Full Billing Address. If these are not filled out, the contact will FAIL to sync to Service Management app.
