How to generate an Invoice for a Sales Order

  • At the time of finalising Packing stage, an invoice will be automatically generated.

  • If you wish to do this earlier in the process, open a Sales Order from the Sales Order Management home screen.

  • From this screen you can either; Delete the order, Create an invoice, Generate a Pickslip, or send as a Quote.

  • Select Create Invoice

  • If there are items on the order that have not yet been picked (considered “Backordered”) it will prompt you to choose if you wish to include these lines on the invoice or not.

  • Remaining items can be invoiced separately in future, when the backorder is fulfilled.

  • The invoice will appear in the document list, on the right side of the screen.

  • Select either download, or you can email the invoice directly to the customer.

  • Select an existing email address, or enter a new one.
