How to Take a Payment on Behalf of Your Customer
If your account is set up with a Virtual Terminal, you will have access to the Payment Gateway which allows you to take card payments through your Spenda account using your customer's card details.
You can take a payment on behalf of your customer in three easy steps.
- Select the customer making a payment and click on the green ‘Pay Now’ button. You will then be able to select a single invoice or multiple invoices to pay in one transaction. The total amount will be displayed along with any applicable merchant surcharge.
- Enter the card details, including the name on the card, card number, expiry date and CVC code.
- Click ‘Pay Now’ to finish the payment.
The system will automatically send you a payment receipt once the transaction has successfully completed.
